Art By Tech is committed to providing small business Web design and maintenance services that are professional, client-friendly and on budget. We specialize in accessible Web development services because we believe that the Internet should level the playing field and be usable by everyone. Search engine optimization and accessibility are not extras that you need to ask for - they are integral parts of all our custom design packages. Navigation, site purpose, and functionality should be easy for the user to discover and utilize.
We aim to provide you with the highest quality service and technology expertise for your small business Web site. Design and maintenance are just two of our services - take a peak at what else we offer under "services" and "expertise".
We pride ourselves in tailoring and maintaining sites directly to your particular needs, providing your visitors with a memorable and satisfying experience, and helping to enrich the Web experience for all users.
Art By Tech's CEO, Gina Badalaty, believes that clients are her "bottom line". Her creative and technical skills led her to unique work experiences, including retail, business communications and marketing, advertising, film and television production, database development, engineering graphics, and telecom engineering.
In 1999, Ms. Badalaty discovered that she could combine her love of creativity with technical skill in the field of Web design. Her background helped her learn Web programming and graphic design very quickly, and she was promptly employed by a Web design shop. After being laid off during the “dot com” downturn, she launched Art By Tech, designing for several high profile financial management clients. Since then she has worked for more financial firms, engineering firms, business and life coaches, artists, retailers and more.
Ms. Badalaty is experienced in project management, XHTML / HTML, accessibility and standards, and search engine optimization, and was trained in CSS development by Rachel Andrews of Sitepoint.com. Ms. Badalaty has a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Computer Science, Communications Arts, and Mathematics. She enjoys creative and business writing, programming, and dedicates her free time to blogging, parenting, and educating clients. Ms. Badalaty is also a member of The Women Designer's Group and The International Virtual Women's Chamber of Commerce.
